Serving at Sunset

There is a scintillating air of intrigue, a sense of drama in this painting. The lights are well placed, there is color harmony and contrast but what I particularly find exciting about this composition is its use of space and dependence upon, and creative use of edge design which keeps the eye moving around the picture - no easy feat when there is a centralized, strong subject present. ~ Robert Carsten
