The two convention hotels, Hotel Albuquerque and Best Western, are currently sold out of rooms for the convention. You are welcome to contact them to be placed on a waiting list, or check back from time to time to see about any cancellations.

SPECIAL ROOM RATE
The special rate for IAPS attendees at Hotel Albuquerque is $129 per night plus tax, single or double occupancy. Rate applies from June 5 through June 12, 2017, subject to hotel availability. The cut off date for this special rate is May 15, 2017. For bookings after that date, higher rates may apply — book your room early, we expect this hotel to fill quickly, and have additional rooms blocked at the Best Western (see below).
A big thank you to the Hotel Albuquerque - they have given us this same room rate since our 2011 convention!
MAKING A RESERVATION
- Call the hotel at 866-505-7829 which is the direct line to reservations. If you get a recorded message it means all reservations agents are busy, don’t leave a message, hang up and redial. Leaving a message will not book you a room; you need to speak to a reservations agent, give them your credit card and get a confirmation number.
- To obtain the special rate you must ask to be placed with Block Code 1706INTLAS or within the IAPS 2017 block of rooms.
- Reservation Office hours are Mon-Fri 8am-8pm, Sat 9am-6pm and Sun 9am-6pm. Reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card, and the room must be cancelled 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee.
- Do not book your room through the hotel’s online system, or through other online hotel representatives. IAPS has all rooms at the hotel blocked for our main convention dates and they will be confirmed on a first come/first served basis from the direct phone calls only.
- There is a maximum of two rooms allowed to be booked per person or credit card.

Since both of our convention hotels have filled, there are other accommodations within a few miles of the convention location. Following are some properties, most within half a mile of the Hotel Albuquerque. Bottger Mansion of Old Town - walking distance
The innkeepers are reachable via phone or text, for any questions or concerns. Parking in one of the reserved spots in the municipal lot across the street.
Excerpt from review: “In a building more than a century old, the Bottger Mansion is a bed and breakfast inn just steps from Albuquerque's Old Town Plaza. For the past dozen years, Kathy and Steve have been the innkeepers and owners, and they are warm hosts. The pink building is fronted by a small lawn with a few tables and chairs. The communal dining area has access to the kitchen, with fresh baked cookies, tea options, and a Keurig offering a 24-hour coffee besides freshly brewed coffee in the mornings, and a small refrigerator available for use. A living room has a fireplace, books, and a PC terminal.

- Great value for the price.

Monteray Non-Smokers Motel Old Town - walking distance
Only non-smokers welcome. Great location, 2 blocks to Historic Old Town, Museums & Galleries; Outdoor heated pool (seasonal), guest laundry, in-room refrigerators & coffee makers. High-speed internet. All ground floor units, drive-up access.
Review: “This hotel is a gem. It is clean and efficiently managed. Not many rooms so you need to book ahead. It is one of those places you would stayed at on the 1950s while traveling on Rte 66. The pool is a hidden oasis in the back of the property. Rooms have good AC and really vintage printed sheets on the beds. There is also a coin laundry with folding shelf, ironing board and magazines! Just an amazing place!”

Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Organic Farm - 3.4 miles
Review: “Hands down one of the best places I've ever stayed in while traveling in America.”
"The rooms are clean and unique, with many subtle amenities that make your stay more pleasant. Everyone on the staff--from the front desk to the Farm Shop, the restaurant to the groundskeepers--are friendly and attentive. The ground's four peacocks, two cats, and numerous cranes add a layer to the experience. And the grounds itself is magnificent, with a few walking trails and splendid mountain views. Being tucked away in Northwestern Albuquerque, it's quiet (hidden among numerous ranches), yet easy to get anywhere from. If I need to visit this city again, this will be the place we stay."
Adobe Garden B&B - 4 miles
Review: “Comfortable beds and great decor. The breakfast is fantastic and the hosts are helpful and informative. The fire pit is perfect for a night under the stars. Close to the airport for easy access. Highly recommended.”
