2017 PRESIDENT'S FORUM
 
The IAPS Convention gives IAPS Member Societies an important opportunity to meet face-to-face and share information with their counterparts in other societies. The 2017 Forum will be guided by Liz Haywood-Sullivan, IAPS President; Richard McKinley, IAPS First Vice President; and Jimmy Wright, PSA President. Discussion will be on topics relating to managing thriving pastel societies, with a focus on addressing the needs, questions, and experiences of our member society executives.

NEW! Wednesday Schedule

The President's Forum is on Wednesday, June 7 from 9:00am to 3:00pm. This important gathering is a full day of events, so we moved it a day earlier so it won’t impact attendees from taking classes, or attending the trade show which go into full swing on Thursday. We will finish at 3:00pm, well in advance of the PastelWorld Awards Ceremony and Reception.

Luncheon and IAPS Elections

To keep the conversation and networking going, IAPS will provide a buffet luncheon so that you do not need to leave the room. During this lunch the IAPS Executive Committee will conduct the Biennial Board Elections as required by the IAPS By-Laws. Notifications of these elections will be sent to the society presidents earlier in 2017.

Who Should Attend?

We strongly encourage Society Presidents and/or their representatives to attend this supportive and educational offering. It only happens once every two years! Society Presidents or a representative of their society can attend for free. This includes the luncheon. If you wish to bring additional members of your society you will be limited as to the number and they will need to pay for their meal. IAPS will require an RSVP for this event.

Signing Up and Getting Your Input on the Program

Early in 2017, IAPS will be contacting all Society Presidents for their feedback as to the content of the program. Once the program is set we will contact our Member Societies with additional information, including how to sign up for this event.
