2019 IAPS CONVENTION CLASSES
IAPS has a wealth of classes for you to choose from - Workshops, Demonstrations, Professional Development seminars and critiques. Be sure to check the SCHEDULE so that you don't sign up for two classes at the same time. Each class is designated with the following initials that tell you what type of class it will be:

DM - DEMONSTRATION

The instructor will work on a painting, and discuss technique, inspiration, supplies etc. Demonstrations are either two or three hours. The painting will be projected to a screen, so everyone can see details as the instructor works.

WS - WORKSHOP

There are some two-day workshops at the beginning of the convention for those who like to arrive early and one-day workshops throughout the program. You will need to bring all your supplies, including your choice of standing or tabletop easel. Under each class description is a link to the instructor's recommended materials list that you can print out. Maximum of 20 students in most workshops.

PD - Personal Development

These are business-related classes and will not involve painting or demonstrations.

TO SIGN UP for any class you must be registered as an Artist or an IAPS Instructor. (Non-Artist Spouse/companions may not sign up for optional classes). You can register and sign up for classes at the same time, and you can go back later and add extra classes. If you wish to change or cancel a class see Changes & Cancellations.

WAITLISTS will be kept only for Workshops (not for Demonstrations or Personal Development Seminars). Instructions on how to waitlist a workshop will be explained once the registration is open.
