The International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS) was founded in 1994 as a non-profit organization representing pastel societies worldwide uniting in the common cause to demonstrate the validity and quality of pastel fine art. This coming together of pastel societies provides a strong voice for pastel artists and the luminous medium of pastel. The foundation of IAPS is based on networking and sharing. Individual artists benefit and expand their knowledge through the IAPS Member Society of their choice. IAPS provides networking and sharing through a Biennial Convention and Exhibitions.
At IAPS, we envision a world where pastel art is universally appreciated for its luminous quality, versatility, and enduring beauty.
International Association of Pastel Societies is dedicated to fostering a global community of pastel artists and advocating for this unique art form.
We bring together pastel societies from around the world, creating a network of shared knowledge, resources, and opportunities.
We showcase the highest standards of pastel artistry through exhibitions and our biennial convention.
We work tirelessly to increase the visibility and recognition of pastel art in globally.
The cornerstone of IAPS is our commitment to fostering connections and facilitating the exchange of ideas. We believe that by coming together, we can elevate the art of pastel and support each other in our artistic journeys.
