IAPS (International Association of Pastel Societies) has been focused on promoting and supporting pastel societies and their artist members in our shared love of the pastel medium since our founding in 1994.
As a non-profit organization, IAPS serves as a conduit to pastel societies worldwide in our shared efforts to elevate the fine art of pastel painting. The organization serves as a collective voice on issues that impact pastel artists and the pastel medium by providing unity and support through grant programs, educational opportunities, website and social media presence.
At IAPS, we envision a world where pastel art is universally appreciated for its luminous quality, versatility, and enduring beauty.
International Association of Pastel Societies is dedicated to fostering a global community of pastel artists and advocating for this unique art form.
We bring together pastel societies from around the world, creating a network of shared knowledge, resources, and opportunities.
We showcase the highest standards of pastel artistry through exhibitions and our biennial convention.
We work tirelessly to increase the visibility and recognition of pastel art in globally.
The cornerstone of IAPS is our commitment to fostering connections and facilitating the exchange of ideas. We believe that by coming together, we can elevate the art of pastel and support each other in our artistic journeys.
